This is a low end laptop. Buy only if you can't afford a better one.

This will do fine with general Internet browsing and watching movies/YT/streams, etc.
If you end up buying i suggest getting RAM upgrade at least another 8gb, preferably more. 1x16gb module can be bought around 25$, depending on module supported.

Check for YMMV credit card offers on Amex or other cards. I've got $50 back with $250 spend at Dell on my Amex. You could add accessories to get it just above $250 if needed and still save $.

The screen is 220 nits, 45% NTSC color. So, dim and poor color range.

Link show 250 nits, which is standard for entry level laptops. This is a $225 new laptop.

Or if you don't need a better machine for your needs.

Professional reviews say it's actually 220 nits. The manufacturer claimed brightness is not always accurate. Until a 3rd party measures it, you have to keep in mind the actual brightness could be higher or lower than the manufacturer spec. And yes, it's a very cheap laptop. I'm not saying not to buy it, I just wanted to mention this info, which wasn't included in the deal post, to help people decide whether they wanted this laptop or not. If you're going to use this to edit word documents indoors, or connect it to an external monitor, the screen isn't an issue.

I am a frugal guy, but I am also not rich enough to buy cheap things, for myself or for my family. But you do you.

Per the specs on the page, the USB-C port is a "full function" which is unusual at this price. If it truly has a 250/IPS screen then this would be one of the better cheapys.

Keep in mind, same model can come with man different screens.

This is the 3530 with the HD (Not FHD) TN Monitor...
https://laptopdecision.com/review...on-15-3530
It has the 220 NITs.
Clearly not the same screen here...

Here is another 3530
https://laptopmedia.com/review/de...5-3530/#p5
It has 300 NITs but only 60 Refresh not 120 as this laptop.
Clearly not the same screen as here..(Edit: Oops....Latitude....Google Search result fooled me...)

I can't find a review of their 120Mhz IPS screen at 250 nits for this insprion model.
The closest I could find was an entry level Vostro with a 120Mhz IPS Screen rated ast 250 Nits. It was tested at 262 NITS an d57RGB.....But it's hard to say if its the same screen but likely close to what you will get.

So we know this is IPS not TN and 120 vs 60.
So it's not the lowest possible quality screen...which is shocking.

This is a rare processor (as far as I can tell). The 1305U is a 1+4 (6 threads), the more common 1215U/1315U/100U has 2+4 (8 threads) with an additional P-core and can be found near this price point on sale.

have any American Express Platinum business holders use the $150 benefit? I used the $200 benefit before it changed on July 1st, I'm just curious if anyone has had success triggering the $150
