Agreed though, fantastic game. The parry system makes turn-based JRPG tactics of old feel fresh and more engaging. Story telling is peak. Music might be the best part. Visual styling is whimsical and beautiful.

However...I can't really think of a game of the year so....maybe?
Having said that, it is well worth regular price. The great thing about it I think is it shows everyone that great games don't need a trillion dollar budget and that you shouldn't nickel and dime gamers. I wish these devs nothing but future success.
