I wish this keyboard had a number pad. Still very cool though.

I used to feel the same way but unless you're entering a bunch of numbers, like on a spreadsheet, you get used to not having one pretty quick.

I would be very cool if these had shine-through (pudding?) letters on the keycaps that glowed like embers each time you pressed them. Not outside the realm of possibility

Yeah. I can't get myself to spend $130 on a keyboard that's missing a feature that even the cheapest keyboards have.

software engineer here... I used a full keyboard with number pad for 20 years... change to a TKL size like this one 2 years ago and haven't looked back. I own 3 of them now.

Same here, 20 years with full KBs as a dev/admin, so tying all day including a lot of special characters/KB shortcuts. I really liked the footprint of a TKL, but thought I would miss the numpad, so when the plague had us all WFH, I got obsessed with KBs and ended up building 4 KBs (glorious), and got one of the seperate numpads from Glorious. It sits in my desk drawer at my main workstation, so it is convenient, but I have only used it like twice in the last 3-4 years... and it wasn't really faster/easier than using the nums on my TKL.

time for a serious geekout with LOTR alphabet keycaps! (to save, not to actually use of course.)
