Is it really though? You can get an S10+ for $510 with 512GB storage right now. Sure M3 chips are slightly faster than the 9300+ but the air will feel slower with 60hz compared to 120.
It also only has 128GB so to go up to a comparable model you would need to spend $779 (on sale), and even then you would have to pay for the pen separately essentially making it $879 or at least $800 with education discount. That's ignoring the fact that there's no SD slot which some people may use.
