Not to sound all hoity toity but I have no experience with diamonds in this.....questionable range (I2 - I3). BUt I'm looking at Amazon's Gold Box Deal of the day:

I watched the video at the bottom of the screen and they look all sparkly and shit but I fear that upon the items arrival they will look dull and rather lifeless.

What doyou guys think? It'll be a Xmas present for wifey and I don't want to give her crap...but that price seems pretty damn good and the pics and the vid make them look pretty good too.

Thoughts/ Opinions?

They should be fine. Color is pretty good. I2-I3 means there could be visible flaws, but you most likely won't see them in diamonds that small. What you will see is the color, which is towards the upper side of the scale for this application.

If you look at them from close up, you'll notice I2/I3 in a diamond that small. From far away, you'll look smoking in those earrings Thumbup

I agree that the diamonds are too small to consider about the quality and the color is just okay. But it is white gold so that will at least make it shine more. Good price but I think your local jewlery distict can do better.

Roland, you think about getting your woman a nice watch? For that price range (300ish) you can find a decent eco drive..

Only suggesting cause I know you said its hard to find stuff for your woman (like mines) and this is the gift I scored with on her b-day haha

i bought her a cartier watch for 3K about 2 years ago.

We placed a $250 llimit on xmas gifts this year so I'm trying (in vain it appears) to stay within our stated limits.

O yeah, with white gold you'll probably need to rhodium plate it every few years or it'll look tarnished.

I need to get BQ some more stuff :/. Took care of a few things yesterday, and had some stuff I bought before come in.. but there's still more I want to get for her.

Dad is good to go. Still need to get more for the kid and my mom tho.
