It depends on your wife's style. Here's some questions to ask yourself (if you answer them here I'll help recommend something:
(1) would she prefer a functional bag, or fancier bag for when you two go out on the town?
(2) Does she prefer oversized bags that she can carry her whole life in or smaller bags?
(3) Does she like light colored bags that are sophisticated, or dark colored bags that are easier to keep clean?
(4) What is your preferred price range?
(5) Does she prefer leather or fabric?

Yes. As long as you have your receipt you can return it to a coach factory outlet for a full refund in the original form of payment (no time limit to return). If you return it to a regular retail store they will accept it as a courteousy, but will only issue a credit for the refund.
