So I pulled a tick off of me a couple of months ago, and the bite is still there. It was a wood tick I think. I don't have any signs of lime disease, but this just doesn't look right. It's the size of a nipple now.

The head probably didn't come out and the flesh around it has rotted a bit. Put some neosporine on it twice a day until it starts to clear up.

Unless you have been chronically picking at it, a wound that small should have healed long ago. I highly recommend seeing a physician. It might be an infection, but you'd expect to see more redness radiating around. Do you have diabetes?
