Dan's Ammo has Sig P225/P6 starting at $259 for service grade models. Many online forums are saying that they show signs of holster wear on the exterior, but the interior parts are as new. They are also selling a higher grade for $299. These Sig Law enforcement trade-ins that feature European "P6" markings. Light holster wear but mechanically in excellent condition. Includes 2-8rd magazines and used holster. I recently purchased two of the higher grade guns from Dan's and they are in great shape. I'm glad I purchased them now, while they're still stock.

Aim Surplus is carrying these pistols at $259.95:

CDNN investments is also carrying these pistols, but you must call them at 800-588-9500 to find out their price and order. Their catalog can be dowloaded at http://www.cdnninvestments.com/dowournewcat.html.

Miltary Gun Supply is carrying them for $299.95:

Centerfire Systems is carrying them for $269.99:

http://www.centerfiresystems.com/...rodID=1225

J&G Sales has these at $249 for standard grade, +$20 for hand select, and +$20 for a second magazine:

The rest of the these dealers may have varying qualities in stock. I've dealt with Dan's, CDNN, and Centerfire in the past and have been happy with all three. Dan's seems to grade their used firearms realistically.

As with any firearm purchased online, you'll need to go through a local FFL dealer to receive the firearm. FFL fees can vary widely by location/dealer.

Nice gun. I like the P1 Walther from Dan's for $300.

Pretty good deal for a Sig. Wasn't thinking of buying but now thanks to SD I might have to get one to protect all of my chocolate from CVS.

The P225 is my favorite of all the Sig's. The one I have is a tack driver, and due to it's flatness, is a joy to carry. It doesn't fit the current thinking of huge capacity, (ie: shooting lots is better than shooting well.....), but 9 rounds should solve 99.999% of problems.

Considering what the current price of these are, this is a fantastic price.

Yup, which is great, as they've been carried but shot very little. Not that most people could wear out a 225 in your lifetime anyway

You may want to specify in your title that these are used.

(OK, it was sheer optimism on my part to think otherwise at this price, but still....)

Repped.

Yes, a 225 is a hardy gun, but why do we think these haven't been shot much? US police service pistols would be HEAVILY used at the range, even if never drawn in the line of duty... are zee Germuns just that good?

I was going to bite on these, but I would want one threaded for a suppressor...and threaded 225 barrels are pretty much impossible to come by.

i would go with a 9mm like this, glock 17, sig 226 something around those. Just make sure that you practice to get comfortable, stay away from the higher power rounds 45acp, 357sig, etc, you definetly want a firearm capable of double action.

i would email jarvis custom http://www.jarvis-custom.com/ they can probably make you one. just remember you lose accuracy when you swap out for a threaded barrel as it cant fit as tightly, due to tolerance required for operating the suppressor.

Try a revolver.

Try a revolver with speed loaders. (Those are the little "circles" that hold the six rounds in place for quick loading.)
