Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Eligibility
Home & Family Ford Edge Contest (the "Contest") is open to all legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia who is 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of Woody Fraser Enterprises, Inc., Crown Media United States, LLC, prize suppliers, agents, and their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, and any other entities associated with this Contest are also not eligible to participate. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, as well as Sponsor's decisions and/or interpretations under these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
2. Sponsor and Administrator
Sponsor: Woody Fraser Enterprises, Inc., 1757 Ventura Boulevard, #206, Encino, CA 91316; Crown Media United States, LLC, 12700 Ventura Blvd., Studio City, CA 91604. Administrator: Woody Fraser Enterprises, Inc., 1757 Ventura Boulevard, #206, Encino, CA 91316.
3. Timing
Contest begins on February 6, 2017 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time and ends March 3, 2017 at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time ("Contest Entry Period"). Sponsor is the official time keeper for this Contest.
4. How to Enter
During the Contest Entry Period there are four ways to enter the Contest:
a) Enter through Facebook: Go to www.facebook.co
b) Enter through Instagram: Upload a video of yourself that is no longer than 30 seconds explaining what "love" means to you on Instagram with the hashtag #HFCarContest. You must have your Instagram account set to PUBLIC in order to have your Video viewed and have a valid submission. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
c) Enter through Twitter: Upload a video of yourself that is no longer than 30 seconds explaining what "love" means to you on Twitter with the hashtag #HFCarContest. You must have your Twitter account set to PUBLIC in order to have your Video viewed and have a valid submission. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
A person may only use one email address in connection with this Contest. Use of multiple email accounts to enter by the same individual is prohibited and may result in disqualification. Limit one video submission per social media platform per day. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected Videos, which will be disqualified.
5. Video Requirements
The Video must comply with the following requirements: (i) the Video may not feature any person other than entrant unless entrant has obtained all necessary permissions and releases from such persons prior to submission; (ii) other than the Sponsor, its products, brands and/or logos, the Video may not proximately show, contain, mention, depict, refer or otherwise allude to the name, logo or product of any other retailer, manufacturer, brand, product, store, place of business, person, company or character in such a way or manner as to imply an affiliation with, or endorsement of, the Sponsor, its products, brands and/or this Contest; (iii) the Video must be entrant's own original work (or the entrant must have the rights from the videographer to make the submission), created solely by entrant and not created professionally; must not have been previously published, released or distributed in any form; must not have won any award; and must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other personal or proprietary rights of any person or entity; (iv) the Video may not contain, mention, refer or otherwise allude to any material that is violent, lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, disparaging, defamatory, libelous, racially or morally offensive or otherwise contain inappropriate content or objectionable material; (v) the Video cannot promote illegal drugs or tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any political agenda or message; (vi) the Video cannot in any manner defame, misrepresent, contain disparaging remarks or reflect negatively about Sponsor, its products, or other people, products or companies or their products, or in any way reflect negatively upon such parties or explicitly or implicitly communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill with which Sponsor wishes to be associated, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion; (vii) the Video cannot contain any personal identification, such as personal names, email addresses or street addresses, without express permission; (viii) the Video cannot itself be in violation of any law; and (ix) the Video must otherwise be in compliance with these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Video that Sponsor believes, in its sole discretion, does not comply with or is in violation of these Official Rules or that otherwise contains prohibited or inappropriate content.
6. Grant of Rights
By submitting a Video, the entrant represents and warrants that he/she has all right, title and interest necessary to grant the Sponsor the worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free and unrestricted right and license to adapt, publish, use, edit, and/or modify such Video in any way and post the Video on the internet or use the Video in any other way and agrees to indemnify and hold Sponsor harmless from any claims to the contrary.
7. Representations and Warranties/Indemnification
Each person who enters this Contest represents and warrants as follows: (i) entrant has obtained any and all necessary permissions required to submit the Video and for Sponsor's right to use the Video for any purpose, including the consent of any identifiable third person(s) appearing in the Video, and entrant can and will make written copies of such permissions available to Sponsor upon request; (ii) the Video is owned by entrant and has not been previously published, distributed or otherwise exploited; (iii) the Video is wholly original with entrant and, as of the date of submission, the Video is not the subject of any actual or threatened litigation or claim; (iv) the Video does not and will not violate or infringe upon the intellectual property rights or other rights of any other person or entity, including, but not limited to, rights of privacy and publicity; and (v) the Video does not and will not violate any applicable laws, and is not and will not be considered defamatory or libelous. Each entrant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold the Sponsor, Administrator, Dealer, prize suppliers and their subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors harmless from and against any and all third party claims, actions or proceedings of any kind and from any and all damages, liabilities, costs and expenses relating to or arising out of any breach or alleged breach of any of the warranties, representations or agreements of entrant hereunder.
8. Winner Determination
After the end of the Contest Entry Period, a panel of qualified judges determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion will select the one (1) best Video from among all eligible Video that were submitted, based on best performance.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Entry Period and the quality of the Videos.
On or about April 15, 2017, Sponsor or Administrator will contact potential winner using the contact details provided with entry. Potential winner must follow the initial prize claim instructions within five (5) days and any subsequent claim instructions, or the prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Sponsor's decisions as to the administration and operation of the Contest and the selection of the potential winner is final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Failure to respond to an initial notification within five (5) days will result in disqualification.
9. POTENTIAL CONTEST WINNER IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE CONTEST.
10. Verification of Potential Winner
The potential prize winner must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Failure to respond to the initial notification within five (5) business days of when the notification is sent or return of notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (if required) within the required time period, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential prize winner shall forfeit the prize. In the event that a potential winner of the Contest prize is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may award the applicable prize to a maximum of one alternate winner by conducting additional drawings.
11. Grand Prize
One grand prize will be awarded. Grand prize winner will receive a 2017 Ford Edge SUV (the "Car"). Grand Prize Winner will be solely responsible for any and all expenses related to the Car apart from its cost and any delivery/freight charges related to its delivery to a Sponsor-selected Ford dealership near Grand Prize Winner's residence ("Dealer"), including but not limited to: fees for title, license and registration, insurance, taxes, gasoline, as well as all other expenses relating to the receipt and use of Car, including any travel and transportation costs associated with collecting the Car. Car will be delivered with standard equipment, as described above; any upgrades and options are at the sole expense of the Grand Prize Winner. Car color and other Car options and equipment are to be selected by Sponsor and/or Ford and are subject to availability. At the time Car is delivered, Grand Prize Winner must have a valid driver's license and provide a valid Social Security number and evidence of auto insurance; failure to show any of the required documentation may result in prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner. Delivery of Car must be taken from the Dealer on a Sponsor-selected date. If Grand Prize Winner is unable to pick up the Car at the Dealer, an additional delivery fee may apply, which will be solely the Grand Prize Winner's responsibility. No prize substitution allowed except, at Sponsor's sole discretion, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted. A prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. Prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the listed prize for one of equal or greater value for any reason. Grand Prize Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. The ARV of the Car is $30,000.00. The actual market value is subject to market conditions, which can fluctuate, and any difference between actual market value and ARV will not be awarded.
