Mwave is a reputable company. Their CS and website may not be as great as Newegg or Amazon, but they're certainly not a fly-by-night operation.

Be careful with this company MWAVE! They shipped the wrong product for my last order. I'm currently sorting thru their RMA process.... not certain it's worth the headache for a $9 part.

highly doubt it. backtrack uses the aircrack-ng suite, which have extremely shitty support for most usb adapters. you can look at their site for what they support. here's a tip: you want something...
