The pro version (black) seems to have mini pci express port inside that is used for wifi card in some versions (wifi not included in black version). Otherwise I havent seen any other difference.

Should be able to run debian linux and sazbnzbd. But if it's like my dockstar, lack of ram will make sabnzbd super slow. Good deal none the less.

Should be able to access the files on your LAN. I have the older Dockstar device at home and it works great with my WDTV.
