It's odd that this rebate form says that the rebate submission only requires the signed rebate form and a copy of the invoice, but not the UPC barcode. Just an observation.

The monoprice set is probably close to this (very well could be better) when it comes to the sound quality, but I'll bet it's much easier to resell this on craigslist if/when you decide to upgrade.

You can keep going up in $50 to $100 increments and you'll consistently get better sound the more expensive you get. The point here is that you get a 5.1 system for $100 where as the one you linked...
