It looks like the link you provided is for the IdeaTab A2109 with an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. Have you tried to install Jelly Bean? I would like to know if it works.

I have a tablet with A8-1.2G and it has no problem for video playback..just slow browsing...I heard A8-1.2G = A9-1.0G..if this is true, then video streaming should be very smooth.
