My current knife is not serrated unfortunately, I wanted a serrated and a non-serrated one. So can anyone answer my question about carrying this in California?

yep- Perhaps a compromise? the rifle and pistol? I like the rifle, but @ almost 8lbs + ammo, might limit mobility.

Silencers aren't silent enough. Plus, if you're going the gun route, go for a silenced bullpup rifle. Not a pistol. May not look as cool, but the point is to stay alive, right?

I would prefer Pistol (with silencer) - Supposedly zombies are attracted to sound. Machete or the knife as a backup. With a machete, u will get tired and overrun.

Love my Seal Pup Elite from S.O.G., but this is also a fantastic knife. If I hadn't gone SOG, I would have bought this knife.

Can someone explain the appeal of this knife? Is this better than a KABAR? If you are going to spend nearly $60, why not spend a little more and get a scrap yard?
