I'm actually interested in the older version. Could you please share a link where I can find older version with more RAM or more GBs for lower price? I can't find that anywhere

m5? m7? Forgive me for not recognizing what that is, unless you're talking about i5 and i7--but I don't know this machine has an i7 variant. Thanks in advance!

I was on the fence too. I have one now and it is super capable. The heaviest lifting I've done with it is Photoshop and a bit of video editing and there wasn't a single delay. Take a look at this...

Tried one. Was disgusted with it and returned it. I think they will get there eventually. Not there yet though.

These newer macbooks are suitable for GoPro 5 4K content re-encoded to 1080p content suitable for Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier CC + lightroom CC on-the-go right? Or should I settle for the...

Have you tried the new windows laptops with the Microsoft Precision Trackpads? I would say that the responsiveness is almost at 95% of the Apple trackpads.

Where can I get one of these "much cheaper, but much beefier" Windows laptops that will run Mac OS?

Does it worth the money? Is it a slick deal? Wanted to buy one, but still hesitate.

After working on both I opted for the 2015 16gb ram 256gb. The main reason was the attachment issues with the USB-C only ports on the 2016 models. I haven't missed having a DVD drive like I thought I...

Agreed. I won't be able to make the switch to windows until they perfect the trackpad like Apple.

I'd say my vote for Mac is 70% trackpad and 30% OS never aging (whereas windows always slow down overtime). The rest of MacOS can be ignored, in fact for most internet use it's mostly chrome and...

Building a proper desktop is much easier than making a PC laptop work well. imho. I'm looking at a Kaby Lake build that will be silent and score higher than all current iMacs. Geekbench score around...

I've been very on the fence about this computer. Using a 2014 MBA now. It does what I need it to do, but, the resolution of the screen kind of stinks. I'm hoping (but doubtful) the 2017 machines...

Wake me up when 15" 512 gb model is available please! Doesn't seem like those 2015 bad boys nearly available for around$1600-1700 as their 2014 predecessors during spring 2016

Have you tried one? I love my entry level 13" 2016 and I hate my top model 15" 2015. The device is just so much nicer to work with. And he battery life is 3x longer (I actually get 9-10h compared to...
