I'm not sure what point you're trying to make? Dull knives cut unpredictably. Whether I "know how to use a knife" or not (oh senpai, won't you teach me?) I'd still prefer a sharp knife to a dull one....

I used the coupon at checkout and the register never said anything about it. I have bought multiple Shun knives without any issues.
Many other items, such as dyson and Miele, are also excluded...

In store order - it will work. Have done many times on other exclusions such as riedel. If they have in store it will work by defaul as well. Got my Dyson that way while it was "excluded.
