You cannot determine how "dirty" engine oil or transmission oil is by color or opacity. Send it to blackstone if you want a real analysis. I'm sure your 3k oil was probably good for another 97,000...

There is a fill plug on a "sealed" transmission. They do not have a dipstick.

There is no fill plug on an automatic. You fill the fluid through the top where the automatic fluid dip stick is.

It really shouldn't be much different than replacing the fluid on a manual transmission... at least that is how it is on my Lexus. Just level the car on stands, take out the drain plug, drain, change...
