good to know. Ok, going to get some coffee filters. I guess I'll just get some larger cheap car filters, and cut them out to fit. Many can be stretched out like an accordian.

If it's a recall, it's not free of charge. It's paid for by the manufacturer. Also, I find it highly unlikely that they would pick up your car for a filter change. Even Maserati doesn't pick up cars...

Nah, they picked it up and dropped it off. While they changed the filter, they also performed a $900 recall free of charge so it had to go in anyhow. 1st rule of law, NEVER assume anything.
