Nah, SLI for a 970 at this point is not a good idea. I would not recommend that. Especially with games like PUBG eating up VRAM like candy. In fact, I would not recommend SLI at all.

The Gigabyte fan is relatively quiet. I had an RX 460 with a similar fan and below 60% is was barely audible. And the fan turns off below a certain temperature threshold...probably won't even spin up...
