No right or wrong answer, really depends on what you're doing with it. Inherently 35mm will give you a wider shot versus a 50mm. Also what glass elements are in the particular lens you're looking...

These are Nikon F mount, so general, they fit only on Nikon dslr bodies. Your camera's manual may also have a list of compatible lenses.

I'd say depends, if you like 24mm it will serve you well, plus with DX crop you get 35mm equiv with 24mm lens, but if you like 35mm more keep your 35
