This particular unit seems to delay in 24 hour increments, so the time-of-watering is not affected.
It is not smart enough to adjust your watering amounts depending on how much rain is forecast....

I have this but 12 station, it can't detect rain though, however, manually you have to change rain delay option either 24 hr/48hr etc.
