i price match no problem.. $300 credit... my dad price match $30.. they gave him some trouble at first but then they ended up giving him a $100 credit..

Interesting, I usually use Kayak/Trivago to compare all the 3rd party sites and Hotels.com is usually the same price as everyone else, I've never look at the sites directly though.

It can be a struggle. But I have been successful with them multiple times and saved hundreds. With their reward program there is an effective 10% off and that applies even with the matched rate.
