You know they can get your car's speed from the onboard computer that's in the car, right? If I remember correctly, you can disable on-screen speed in the video.

Mine died as well. I had to pay return shipping to China, but they were able to send me a replacement. They actually sent the v2 version and what I sent back was the v1.

I suspect the V2 fixes the GPS. I have the V1 A119s, and the GPS overheats rapidly. A new mount is being sent to me.

If it really comes down to it, they can easily calculate the speed you traveled from the video you provide, even without GPS.

A119 and A119S are considered 2 different models. Both have v2 which fix the GPS mounting. V2 has the foam and the better connectors.

I bought a A119S back in February. Died on May 6th without me noticing because the red power light stayed on. Hopefully it gets replaced but I've heard poor things about Viofo support.
