Maybe somebody can answer my question, how complicated is it to do a self install on this should I hire somebody or attempt it myself I'm somewhat mechanically inclined and do my own repairs around...

The Home Depot rebate is only for purchases made at participating stores (see previous link), so if that store is not on the list, it wouldn't surprise me if the employees were unaware of it.

update, went to HD and they stated they do not match menards rebate, they had no idea they offer their own 11% until I showed them, still a good deal.

I highly recommend these types of garage openers as being able to monitor them and open/close them via smartphone is great. Now I never have to drive back to see if I remembered closing the garage...
