I unlocked 5 LG Risio phones (not Risio 2) for $1.40 each from this seller (calvihollowa4). It took about 1 day to get the codes. I think he can handle Risio 2.

I bought LG Risio and ended up returning as it was charging very slow and operation was also not fast.. For the price, one cannot complain though. I haven't use K20 but specs wise it looks better...

Any chance you're not inserting the sim correctly? It looks like a double slot design, sim under, sd card slot over. Maybe you're putting the sim in sd card slot?
