Might have overcharged. Did you check high and low side (need gauges, not the crappy single gauge that comes w some of the fluids.) It's actually much better to use this stuff than all the fancy...

FYI, you can borrow a set of gauges at Autozone to check the pressure in your system. You leave a deposit of full purchase price and get your deposit back as long as you return them within the time...

I see your point but you're better off using pure refrigerant. The additives just gunk up your ac system leading to an even more costly fix. If it's a beater then hey do what you must.

Just went to walmart is was 5.56 there, so this is a very mild "deal" ofc supertech r134a is a smoking hot deal when all others cost at least $12

I bought 30lb cylinder of r-134 at sams club few years ago for about 80$. Will last me and my friends forever. Got tired of those small cans. I have gauges and charging scales though.

Easy way is on a really hot day it will cycle fast and not cool as good as on a slightly cooler day. Gauges are helpful also
