I didn't claim that wireless connectivity wasn't sufficient - There is, however, no question that wired is more reliable than wireless. Wireless may well be safe enough - that's for you to decide....

Care to point out what is inaccurate? The Nest alarms have a dual photoelectric sensor. Halo has both a photoelectric and ionization sensor....

Nice sales pitch, but you got a few things wrong. The Nest Protect has a dual sensor: https://nest.com/support/article/What-is-the-Split-Spectrum-Sensor. Also, the batteries need to be replaced...
