Atleast HDR is an upgrade. And Atmos has slight improved uses. This? Not so much. A closer analogy would be like buying an adapter which supports mSATA for the sake of futureproofing.

You do realize that an adapter doesnMt actually work by itself, right? You actually have to fill it with an awful item, and it has to convert the data over.
