I don't think the price for the cpu and motherboard would be worth the tiny jump if any in fps. We just have to wait for the game to be optimized more.

I had this chip for 3+ years before switching to Ryzen. I would only recommend it for people who already have an AM3 motherboard/ddr3 RAM. If you're doing a new build, go with Ryzen/am4/ddr4.
