Yeah that's all part of camera setting. Or you can tap on Object to refocus. Plus you can adjust focus after taking picture. Dual lenses.

For the most part, yes. Better camera, overall faster, better fingerprint reader. Worse audio though, missing the dual front speakers, DAC and Dolby.

Battery life is good if you know what Apps to turn off. Overall good phone, except Camera is not that good compare to flagship like Apples, Samsung and Sony.
