That monitor is $1000. I believe OP was asking for a monitor with full HDR10 under a $1000 (not $999.99). The LG also tops out at 350nits brightness (same as the Dell) which means it's not TRUE HDR....

It's a 60hz screen with no G-sync/Freesync and probably higher input lag than dedicated gaming monitors. If these are important considerations for gaming, then no, this is not a great gaming monitor....
