I'm not attempting to start a brand war, but the ONLY craftsman boxes for sale that feel even remotely as high of quality as this box are their most expensive models. And good luck finding a new one...

I have one of these. I would not recommend if you are a mechanic and/or if the box will get HEAVY use. It doesn't seem to be as well constructed as my Craftsman. My two cents.

They're out there. Last time around I drove 45 minutes to get two for friends. All of the local stores were sold out. As of this post popping back up, there are 44 available within 50 miles....

Deal has always been on since that thread. Price never changed from $49. What has changed, is that Home Depot only has stock in select areas. Nearest to me is 120 miles away.
