Yeah. That's how I know they're fake. I bought the 13 dollar pen and ended up returning it. The white Lamys are notorious for being counterfeit

The Chinese knockoffs for these are so good, they are better than the original IMO. Honestly you're better off buying the Chinese ones for $4

Impossible to tell without holding in hand, but most retailers sell Lamys for $29. Amazon sells at $23.20 for one pen no ink, no converter. This one comes with 5 inks ($5-6) AND an extra pen...

I think the white is pretty. The black safari is very nice but, I think the white is lovely and distinctly feminine. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
