OGG being maui is one of the nicest islands...best vacation for someone that hasn't been to Hawaii would be Mauii 5-6 days with Big island 3 days..big island is nice but has no more than 2 beaches...

I'm thankful for having a part time job at an airline that allows me to fly for free. I would never pay this money to go to HI.
That being said, if you are going on VC I recommend you skip HNL...

I mean I have paid $400 and $425 twice for RT from San diego to OGG.
I also found flights for my sister at $380ish.
This was all in the last two years.
There really is no reason why SJ/SF...
