This looks like a clone of the Gourmia GFD1550 dehydrator. A couple years ago Aldi's offered a clone of the Ronco dehydrator. This one sounds like a MUCH better model based on features and reviews....

I don't have one but would like one. When you have fruit you better eat or it will go bad, you could dehydrate it. Also I hear beef jerky made with this is good.

I prefer to travel light. I dehydrate my food, and then I juice it. Very efficient!:)

Looks like a good deal - most of the cheaper ones I've seen don't have variable temperature. Where did you get the $5 off $25 coupon? Is that generally available, or targeted/emailed?
