EVERY dell laptop and desktop I've owned has failed over a 10+ year period. Same for everyone I know. I'd never buy another Dell.

Except they aren't since they require some additional LSPcon chip. Because of that hardly any Kaby Lake laptops/motherboards came with HDMI 2.0 outputs.

Yeah 20% is a sizeable difference. Single core is where most will be on these types of devices anyway. So having that additional performance is vital. Not too many people are doing HD video encoding...

this is the hd 620 "uhd" revision that has hdmi 2.0. all kaby lake refresh/coffee lake processors are now fully hdmi 2.0 hdcp 2.2 compliant.

It has HDMI 2.0 output which is given in the fist post also. And Kaby lake does support HDMI 2.0 through an external converter (DP-to HDMI) but in maximum cases manufacturers don't implement it....

Kaby Lake only supported HDMI 1.4 so you could only get 4k 30hz
