Don't you use already hot water to begin with? My tap water comes out hotter than most my recipes anyways.

This is exactly what I'm looking to do. I'm crossing my fingers. One thing you could do is but a tougher cut of steak and cook it all day. Should give you decent results.

I'll also try it out this afternoon, hopefully it's as you say which would be great.
Because it takes an hour or more to cook things (and not the 15-20m with traditional methods) I really would...

Have you tried downloading the app from the app store. The device may be broadcasting and no setup for it in the UI on the device.
If you can report back would be appreciated.
Also can you set...

Nope for both. I bought this on prime date and it works well so far. I don't mind the water circulation noise, but you can reduce it my submerge it deeper near the max line.

Fire hazard! is this garbage even UL rated? Nothing like water electricity and cheap Chinese knock offs to bring an electrifying spark to your day.
Seriously people should start suing Amazon for...

I bought this with ZERO reviews.
It works great as a "dumb' sous vide cooker. a little loud, but i'm not listening to my food cook. very negligible. If you've been on edge just get it.

Many bad reviews on amazon, they do mention it being much louder (1000w circulation is like a ninja blender loud, so thats clearly a mistake in translation, but nonetheless), not working staright out...

I actually have this and its not bad. the timer goes up to 70 hours, which I accidentally thought was minutes the first time. It is quite large though, not sure how it compares to a "reputable" brand...

1000 w for the circulation motor is ridiculous. They're talking about the heating element.. 10 w wound be plenty for circulation.

Like I said, check the video and check their website. It's *very* deceptive. There is only one model to date. Q/A is user generated content and there is no answer from a company rep.

It does not state this model has wifi nor bluetooth. They probably have different versions. The Q/A also says no wifi or bluetooth. Good luck getting a refund on a feature that was never advertised.
