Just get an Inovelli. Same price or cheaper, does the same thing, but you also get a smart controlled outlet on top of that.

I have the same problem with my CT100 thermostat loosing connection, even though it is in the hallway not too far from my VeraPlus controller. I have not been able to solve this "disconnection"...

I believe there are some plug-in devices that are not repeaters, but all the ones I've read up on are. The use case for this is of course when you need to place a repeater where there is no power...

Maybe it's me, but why would you buy this instead of an appliance module or smart outlet? They plug in and actually provide additional functionality, and would work as an extender too, right?
