got a porter-cable tire inflator, without battery it's inconvenient to use the 12v plug in the car. so only battery by porter-cable will fit? or any others that will also work? also lithium ion...

Same price on Amazon. Wish these would go cheaper as I have a 4 piece set but both batteries died.

In Porter Cable's 18v series the NiCd and lithium battery packs were interchangeable. So these are awesome for the radio, light, and other tools in that line.
