This is YMMV, if you buy and pick up in San Jose Santa Clara California, it is 1.59 due to instant rebate in the area. Not a price mistake though.

great deal. i see it in san jose/campbell area. i just cant remember if mine are the same type tips or not. i think i spent like $8 for a single one that is very similar (5000k instead of 3000k),

It shows same price as OP, after Pacific Gas and Electric Instant Rebate -$14.34.
So this could be location specific and not a price mistake.

It was 1.59. I bought two in store regular price in San Jose California. Hillsdale and Camden.
I checked Home Depot.com while in the store to see the price and it shows 1.59 for me and still does....
