Someone needs to alert a moderator when a deal is expired. Did you do that or are you just here to complain about "spamming the deal" and "Standard Sears/Kmart bullshit"?

Marked front page relisting and this and other threads not marked as expired, expired... They're spamming the deal, and moderators are not flagging it as expired.

I've bought good solder at ebay. A little silver content in the solder works great.

Brass ball doesn't require any preparation; sponge you have to keep wet. Also with the depth of the brass ball you can quickly and thoroughly clean the whole tip, not just the very end of it.
I'd...

And also, I have the brass ball thing. Works...

I second you on brass ball vs sponge. On iron though, Hakko is nice but overkill for the occasional hobbyist. Some sub $10 regulated iron will suffice.

I'm really surprised they don't sell solder or flux on the site. I wonder if they even sell it in the store anymore?

I'm looking for something I can use on my Death Ray Project. Something I can blow the moon up at the next eclipse, if needed. Do I need the 60W soldering gun, or will 40w suffice?

This just adds to the numerous problems and other issues Sears has. Can't even maintain a decent functioning site? Sears approaching demise makes sense.
