Your right they are not picky was online with chat using your same chat responses and ended up with the v7 car+boat model for 195 taxes included. YMMV.

I, too, replaced a Dyson with a Shark. The Shark Rotator Truepet, also $300. It's a fantastic vacuum. Can't say I miss the Dyson, but I'm not bashing Dyson either.

Yeah ... all these models should have same base and accessories are interchangeable I guess ... Edit:- just dropped call from dyson ... parts are not interchangeable with different versions

I have had handheld as well as upright Dyson vacuums. They are decent vacuums; that's all. They have never been the best performers and are way overpriced.
