Not comfortable after one hour, it clamps on very tight. I had to replace the earpads and added more cushioning for the headband to make it wearable for longer periods. This is regards to the 580s.

no amp needed ;) but most cans compliment from a good amp / amp/dac combo (mostly DAC part of it !) fot low impedance HPs :) would highly recommend fostex HP-P1 ! sweet sounding amp/dac combo ! :rock:
