Yes yes, you are correct! The black mixamp is for the PS4 and white mixamp is for the XB1. Headset color doesn't matter as black and white will both work with any mixamp.

Astros are fine. High end Turtle Beaches are fine. Hyper Xs are fine. They're all nice to me. Personal preference. Just wait for good deals like this. Never seen A40s this cheap before.
