True, but ultimately, these printers are not built to be serviced like HP's where rollers, feeders that can wear out and have to be replaced. At least they last longer than inkjet printers.

The guy who posted earlier is right. These printers are only worth about $50 new, so if you replace 5 toners and the 5th ruins your drum, you come out ahead vs overpriced oem toners.

My only concern was if its going to work and not cause damage. If it lasts long or not is not a big deal considering the price.

The Brother printers that use these cartridges have not been made for quite a while, so the cartridges will eventually become hard to find and more expensive. In for one.

aftermarket drum and toner is not same as the OEM, but the OEM sometimes cost more than the printer. if you can get this deal and an aftermarket drum you may be able to get +2k prints out of both. ...
