That's the same conclusion I came to. A Dual core isn't much these days, but for basic uses (web browsing, etc) it should do fine. I don't own a MAC (yet), but this seemed like it might be a fun...

That seems pretty significantly underpowered, but at $300 you can't get much cheaper for an Apple computer
