Actually 128GB would be fine but 256GB will give you some extra space for storing some other apps also in the SSD. Also, one thing in SSD, for similar type, bigger the size, better the performance...

Yes, it is pretty good for that. If you are not planning to game, my only suggestion would be adding a SSD and migrate the OS to that.
