This looks like a decent price for the specs (4 core, 8 threads, 1080p IPS + SSD,) but according to the Acer website, $599.99 is the normal price for this particular model. Is full retail slick?

I have seen that and confirmed that the Acer product page information is incorrect. Why, because Kaby Lake Refresh does not support DDR3L; it is either DDR4L or LPDDR3.

Also, Acer's product page says the RAM is DDR3L, and it also has a backlit keyboard. Looks like a great budget laptop that leaves no box unchecked, not sure what the thumbs downs are for.
