Of course. Both take 3-5 minutes to warm up. My first one lasted 10yrs and I lost it. Bought this a week or so ago and it's perfect. Very handy because nothing's permanent, but holds very well.

As said, 20 watt guns are for basic stuff, especially for things that don’t require strong bonds. 60/100 watt guns if you want real adhesion. This may not come with 50 mini glue sticks, but for $20...
