I picked up in store the day after ordering. No dents from a quick check but I have not plugged it in yet. I can put a kilowatt on it. I would be surprised if it is as high as $10/month.

I think there's only 4 manufacturers of fridges/air cons/etc. in the U.S. Everything else is a distro or a rebrander. So it's very likely that they're made at the same place.
